Songs about war

Post by ednot » Sat Mar 01, 2008 9:52 am

Got a forward, and am feeling gooooood !!!LA Based Music Publisher with tons of film/TV placements is seeking SONGS ABOUT WAR and the effects, for a compilation CD project that will run through a major retailer. These songs can come from all eras, in a variety of styles/genres, but MUST BE COVER VERSIONS - ideally, of popular tracks from the past. This publisher is particularly looking for unique versions of songs in a different genre than the original, such as an acoustic version of Metallica’s “Disposable Heroes” or a garage punk version of Dylan’s “Master of War”. http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... am=1Really pleased to get this forwardWishing you all a good one

This was definitely a high-bar listing. I'll have to admit I'm stunned that anyone had the kahunas to do the F-U-C-* intro... but those kahunas may have paid off big time!

Through this forum I now know how to correctly spell "cajones" and earlier this year, you found out what a "donger" was! I'm almost afraid about what I might learn next around here...

Still misspelled : 4. cojones n, pl: The testicles (vulgar slang). The word is of Spanish origin. eg:You got some cojones talking to me like that, amigo...want me to break your face for you?
