Children's Music Forward
Hi,I submitted three versions of Raindrops & Moonbeams, Version 3 the solo piano version got forwarded. ( Wahoo!!!)S080102CHA range of great CHILDREN'S MUSIC INSTRUMENTALS (no vocals) are needed by a U.K.-based Music Library/Publishing Co. for TV placement. This company ran numerous TAXI listings in 2006 (and signed many TAXI songs) and is now in need of more great material as their service has become very much in demand. Style-wise, they are seeking many different moods, from fast-paced fun songs to slow and sleepy songs. They don't want tracks that sound like they were obviously MIDI generated - authenticity and great performances are the keys. Both instrumentals with lead melody lines and basic backing tracks that serve as "soundbeds" are OK - they want both. All tempos are OK. Track length should be in the 1:00 - 3:00 range. At this point they work mostly with prominent U.K. TV channels such as the BBC and ITV, but also supply music to other production companies that broadcast worldwideRaindrops & Moonbeams short version 3http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=87193&stream=1Bob

Wow -- Very pretty piece with nice performance and clean production. That track is surprisingly melancholy for a children's listing, but certainly a great track. Thanks for posting and I hope you get a call/email on that one soon!

Hi,Thanks for listening, I'm glad you liked it.The main theme I actually wrote like 30 years ago when I was in college thinking about the day when I would have kids. Bob

Bob, that's a great track. You read the listing well -- when I read it my mind turned to a bells and chimes sort of thing, but your tune is definately right on with the "night night" lullaby direction!I can see the kiddos falling asleep right now Well done, congratulations and best of luck!Larry

Thanks Larry,It's funny that you mention bells & chimes- the other two version of this melody were music box or toy piano versions.. they didn't make it.Thanks for listening!Bob
