Industrial Rock??

I'm shooting for Industrial music for Sports. Not my number one style to compose in comfort-wise but I do like some of Nine Inch Nails' stuff, which I've been told is Industrial, so they're a bit of a model here.It seems like a bit of a tight-rope walk because I don't hear much heavy industrial stuff a'la Nine Inch Nails in sports but I do hear a lot of high energy rock sounding stuff that is almost but not quite industrial, at least to my ears.So I need some feedback on this piece because I don't know if it's:1. Industrial enough?2. Too industrial for sports TV?3. In the ballpark for any other Electronica stuff?4. Way off base and/or too much of a hodge-podge of styles?5. Mazz, you da man, you know that right? So I'd say of the above questions, my answer would be #3.Having been forced into listening to sports music for years now due to a faithful fan in the house (I'm so over it!), I know they love, love, LOVE the basic, dramatic, punchy anthem theme (ala the guitar riffs in We Will Rock You), etc. I'd go with an industrial listing, electronica, that sort of thing, unless you want to change the melody up a bit.It's got some teeth to it. Mazz, I may spend some of my days creating and recording lyrical melodies, but I spend my nights with loud, aggressive rock music (I can't even listen to music on a computer without a subwoofer). So here's my opinion, for what it's worth: there are good elements in the first mix, but the second (stutter) mix brings out those elements much better - THAT THING'S REALLY KICKING COOL! And least you think that I'm easily impressed, the studio I often work with says the standard and quality I go for with my recording is higher than 90% of the people they work with. So apparently, I'm kind of particular.On the particular side, the static stutter does sound a lot like the sound my cable stations make when they go out, so if this music is backing sports events on cable or tv, that sound might make them think something's wrong with their equipment. The stutter idea is still a good one - maybe it could be more of a hard stop of the music, or something that's more obviously like part of the music. But I didn't need the stutter to enjoy it.Jewel

OK, I've been corresponding with songwriter, he's been nice enough to give me some feedback on the mix and mastering so I've done a few tweaks if anyone is interested.
