Smooth, real smooth. What is the instrumentation of the ensemble? You got a really nice sound in this recording!!

Hi Mather,Thanks a lot for your comments. The instrumentation is very simple: on both songs, 2 violin parts, acoustic guitar chords and electric bass line. On the first song (Sadness & Hope) the second part of violin was doubled by its higher octave. It's all real instruments. For my recordings, I always mix with Mike Goudreau, my friend and colleague who has the best "mixing ears" I've ever met. Jean Custeau / bleuciel@mail.com

Beautiful performance. The arrangement is very rich. Wow - real instruments... what a concept! Congratulations on the forward!

Hey Jean-- Beautiful work! I sure hope you get a call/email on these well-performed and well-produced songs. Congrats!Stick-- They are talking about the K58 from Karma Audio (and also, I think, the k-micro drum mics). I'm sure curious to hear one of these myself after Steve's comments.

Jean - Yup, great sound. You managed to get a good "room" sound, something I've been after lately. Thanks for the reply.
