I believe those are the same headphones we use in the studio for mixing. I will check the numbers Sunday. Dave and I listened at screeners' listening stations, and I felt the quality was easily good enough. After the initial thought there was no more thinking about that issue.

Nope, my mistake. The ones we use are Sony XMD 7506.

Let me rephrase that. The film and tv listings must be "broadcast quality"..this typically (in my own experience because I have placements in film and tv) means that it has to be a clean sounding demo. The headphones the screeners use are of good quality. But if you really want to talk to someone about it because you feel that it's of major issue, call taxi 1-800-458-2111 and ask for SEBASTIAN he is the head screener and headphone god.Jimi

I bought a set of the SONY MDR-XD100 headphones to hear how they sounded. They sound pretty good, but they're VERY heavy on the low end compared to all of my AKG studio headphones. It'll be handy to have them around to do periodic checks to hear what the screeners will be hearing.
