classical original or not

Post by vicky » Thu Mar 20, 2008 7:10 am

hey there, does anybody know if this listing is for originals or old public domain pieces....CLASSICAL INSTRUMENTALS are wanted by a well-established Music Supervisor for a major network TV series. The plot of this series revolves around a lawyer who is forced to take care of one of New York City's wealthiest families. The instrumentation should sound very sophisticated and authentic... expensive! Tempos are open, but you might want to consider what could be playing in the background at an elite, high society cocktail party.thanks so much,Vicky

I think there is information about this listing when it was a dispatch listing - over in the Dispatch section, did you see that? My take on it is that the instrumentation is important as well as the "classical" sound of the piece, not that it has to be Mozart or Haydn or Bach.--Mer
