Just wondering where most of the CCM listings come from, since there haven't been very many since I joined in September. For instance, I know Brown Bannister is looking for songs for Chris Sligh (American Idol), 33 Miles is looking for tunes, Todd Smith of Selah is starting to work on his first solo project. Melinda Doolittle (American Idol) is coming up. Why don't we hear about these sorts of things on Taxi?

Re: CCM Listings
Good question... I'm assuming it's that the labels are looking in house. There are a few from time to time though... well, at least in my 6 months of Taxi.

Re: CCM Listings
One of the things that I am disappointed in is the lack of CCM listings. The very few that they do have usually say that they "don't want lyrics that are overtly Christian" yet the majority of big name artists that I listen to (Casting Crowns, Mercyme, Chris Tomlin, Shane and Shane, etc) all freely use the name of Jesus or don't hide their message. My myspace is usually divided between two secular and two Christian songs, but I put all Christian songs on my "hisholyspace" account.
