Hello members,I've been reworking my website (Positive Based, and Christian Based focused)My main intention was changing the way people can hear my audio.to my surprise, on some browsers, my choice of audio never showed up. So with the suggestion of a great Taxi member (andreh) , I invested in Wimpy If you don't mind, can you visit my site: http://www.jaxsn.comand / orhttp://jaxsn.com/pages/JaxsnsProduction.htmland let me know:1. Browser you are using3. and computer (Win or Mac)thanksjaxsn 9-06-07BTW: As many songs as I compose, I too prefer to compose for a listing, instead of just sending what I have. oops, Just my preference1 more thing, I know that some of the links are not loaded with songs at this moment

I have a high speed cable Internet connection (3 mbps, at least twice that of ISDN) and it took nearly 10 seconds for everything to load. I think that when you translate that to how long people with slower connections than mine, it means that you might have some tweaking to do to speed things up.

jaxsn-Your music's load time is no longer the problem; the WimplyPlayer solved that part of it. It's now apparent (on this site, anyway: http://jaxsn.com/pages/JaxsnsProduction.html) that your CD cover images are taking a long time to load, and considering how small they are, you've got them at WAY too high a resolution for this application. It appears you took full-sized, high-res scans of the covers and then just told your browser to display them at a smaller size, which wouldn't change their file size or load time. The images are between 200-360k, and they should be 1/100th of that size. I did a quick test with one of your images, and easily got it down to 2k with no loss of quality perceptible at such a small display size. You need to bring those images into a photo editing/web graphics package such as Photoshop or Fireworks, resize them to match their target web sizes, and save them as reasonably compressed .jpg's or .gif's. This will allow your site to load much more quickly. This may be a problem with the images on your other site as well.André
