Re: Country forward
Wow, this song just got forwarded again, for:
MAINSTREAM, UPTEMPO COUNTRY SONGS for a Female star a la LEE ANN WOMACK (or the more Country side of FAITH HILL) needed by the Director of A&R at a Major Nashville label. Though this artist is known for her old-fashioned styled Country music, crossover songs (think "I Hope You Dance") are welcome too. The bar is extremely high so we'll need to be quite selective.
It also got returned for a Martina McBride-esque listing. The funny part to me is that I wrote it specifically with Martina's voice in mind. Ya just never know...

Re: Country forward
Excellent song, Brian. Was wondering if you've heard anything back from either of those forwards!? Sure hope so.
Congrats on the forwards along with excellent song writing, vocal performance (by your wife) and production.
