TAXI Success Story
Good evening everyone:Greetings from beautiful San Francisco. Since I am new to these forums, perhaps it is appropriate that I introduce myself first. I graduated from the conservatory of music as well as law school in Europe (Holland) about 20 years ago, and decided to pursue a career as a lawyer. In 2007, after winning a Green Card through the lottery, I moved back to San Francisco and decided to go back to music.I heard about TAXI and signed up with them. At first, it went nowhere, but after some time I got the hang of it. Now, after about a dozen or so of forwards, I am working with a West Texas independent filmmaker on his upcoming psychological thriller (just finished the theatrical trailer) and I just signed with an LA music library who supplies music for about 20 national TV shows (anything from PBS to ESPN, NBC, and so on). All thanks to TAXI. (note: earlier I signed with another library, after meeting the CEO at this year's ASCAP Expo). So, things are picking up. I look forward to interacting with all of you - though I should say that I spend way too much time online already!Take care,Peter
