Vocal chain after the mic, API

Post by Len911 » Wed Apr 28, 2010 12:42 pm

I have an L200 rack with mic pre, 225L 1 old style and 2 new style, I use old style for vocal, gate, and I have a lunchbox with 2 550b's.
This is definitely the best value I have ever gotten from anything in recording gear. If I counted the price of all the junk I blew my money on prior to these, I figured I probably spent twice the money. I've never felt the need to try anything after these, they just work. I can get a little carried away sometimes with extreme settings, because they don't sound extreme until you mix them in the context of the music. Very smooth and no artifacts.

here is the website links, rack and lunchboxes are used to house interchangeable modules and contain the power supply and connectors and also supply 48c phantom power, so you can buy however many modules mix and match as long as you have an empty slot.
