You gotta belief in TAXI--

Post by bmete » Tue Dec 16, 2008 11:16 am

Good Afternoon!I am so excited..... just got an e-mail for a PROMINENT UK LIBRARY that they want to sign my Raindrop & Moonbeams rev3.This is a direct result of a TAXI forward ( Thank you Michael and staff ) from a listing in January, 2008. I'll admit I would look at the forwards on the wall, and would say to myself, "nothing came of these ", and then have to remind myself of all the postings on the forum of people saying be patient it takes time. Well, I'm here to say it can and does happen. For me, this also breathes life into my other forwards. Which also means I need to write more and submit more.... Raindrops&Moonbeams rev3http://www.taximusic.com/download/87193/....ve ... 03.mp3Back to writing!!!Bob

Bob,Congrats on the deal!!!!Even better than "the deal" is the potential of "a relationship"The libraries want composers in the mix that can deliver the music they need for their clients. Now, with this library, you're one of them. You're off and running.Chuck

Yeah Bob, way to go!!!It seems to be about hanging in there and once you get a deal, it really ups the confidence level and seems to prime the pump for more stuff to happen! As Chuck said, you're in, now write some more stuff for them!!Now get back in the studio!!!! Mazz

Hiya Bob! Was that the one I liked so much and told you it was a classic_? And you said that it was always a bridesmaid and never a bride? Ha ha! I was right and you were wrong! Big Congratz!!!!

Thanks Casey!Brindabella-- yeah, that's the one, it's funny, when I saw the e-mail I got excited, opened it and saw it was for Raindrops, your post about it being a classic was the first thing I thought of and had a good laugh. I'm very glad you were right, and I was wrong--- ( that kind of wrong I can handle (LOL).Have a great evening!Bob
