Congrats Doug! I know I sound like a broken record, but I'm a firm believer in the one instrument placement. I also agree with Matto that those placements are fewer in number than bigger arrangements, but I'd bet on doing well with a catalog of solo piano, guitar, banjo, accordion, Jew's harp, harmonica, etc. And you could record everything on just two tracks!! Let this thread be an inspiration to those of you who are stuck at square one thinking there's no way you could nail broadcast quality tracks. You probably won't build an entire career on single instrument tracks, but you CAN get network placements as proven by Doug. :D

Nice going,
Michael

Great news Doug, I will tune in Thursday night to check it out.

CSI is a fantastic placement since it has been such an influential and trendsetting show on just about any level. Unlike so many shows that come and go, this is a credit that will be relevant for years to come... 8-)

Big Congratulations Doug! I remember that listing. I had a couple of bagpipe forwards myself on that same listing but never got the call. Most happy to see this went to a fellow Taxi Forum Member. This is a great placement for you. You'll probably be collecting for many years from this one. Congrats Again and Best Wishes!
