Congratulations to you! Well deserved! Thank you for reminding us what Hemingway used to say: you work everyday, at the end of the month you have a lot of stuff. If only one is good, you end up with twelve at the end of a year.In five years, that;s a lot of songs! Congrats again!!

Hi, Dean--I'm sitting here feeling so inspired, being somewhere around stage 2 of your story, and really appreciating that you took the time to share this great story with us! Thank you!!! I know I've heard/read some of Matto's story, and I'd be over-the-top with joy to hear more stories from others on the boards who might wish to share them.... [hint hint!] Yeah, something like that would make me pop like bubble wrap!! These are the kinds of success stories that make my day. I'm so glad I got up this morning to read this post of yours, Dean. I've often thought that someone could make a TV show just about how people landed their dreams in life...Many cheers to you, Dean!!! Hope to meet you at the Rally next year....Raags

Thanks all y'all (Note to self: Stop fantasizing about what it might be like if Universal decided to release your song as a single - and go write something new)

Thanks for posting your story Dean. You deserve to brag about it , in my opinion, though (judging from the replies above) you have also clearly inspired those of us who are somewhere earlier on in the journey. And you're right that Taxi is a part of the equation, but don't belittle your overwhelming contribution to the success related in your story. With or without Taxi, someone with a good attitude and good work ethic like you can find their just rewards.Hope they release that single!
