I was inspired to drool at first, 'til it occurred to me to ask the guy sellin' up what he replaced 'em with. :D ;)

I think it's just a sign of tough times. when things are booming you can probably get a lot of good work just by having elite gear like Fairchilds. I'll bet it's pretty hard to look at those everyday if you've had to drop your rate from $100 per hr. to $30 per hr.

There's a newer (IZ) Radar on eBay for a buy it now of $3,500, easily half what you could find them for just last year. I think a lot of studios aren't making ends meet.

He's probably using a Waves Plug-in.
