Just signed 4 deals this week...I had a forward about a year ago for Public Domain Christmas tunes and got an email from a L.A. based library this week ( yes 1 year later !.... but still pretty sweet ) to sign my arrangements of : God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Ô Christmas Tree and Noël Nouvelet God Rest...http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... &stream=1Ô Christmas Treehttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=65975&stream=1Noël Nouvelethttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=9992&stream=1I also signed an original French Country/Blues '' Le temps racourcit '' with another L.A. based library...Thanks Taxi ! Mike, my man..You've already got SO much music in "the pipeline", once those royalty checks start showing up, there could be a serious bottle neck.We should ALL have such a problem... Great news, and keep it up.Ted

Thanks for the positive vibes friends !It's very exciting signing these tunes ( 54 so far ) ... I hope the placements will come in the near future ....This library thing is my ONLY retirement plan since I've been a full time musician for 20+ years...Too bad I didn't hear about Taxi earlier, but everything happens for a reason which is way beyond my control...Gotta keep the faith ! But for now I must keep doing gigs weekly to make ends meet ( I still love to play live above all anyhow ) ....Just found out we're to play The Montreal Jazz Festival on July 1st !! ( It's the 7th time but still as exciting as the 1st ) I'm working on a dozen new songs to be finished in the next two weeks...Gotta keep planting those seeds in the hopes of reaping the fruits of my labor some day.
