Lol Mojo! I think once you get to a certain level you're really probably just splitting hairs on some of these things. I imagine they were blind testing, but no doubt they were probably discussing amongst themselves what they were hearing.

This was a great read, thanks to all of you.

After much painful deliberation, I did go with the Lavry's - great sound, and it looks like they hold their value well. Can't wait until they get here ....

Considering that BLA could not mod it, I think you made a good choice. It will be a world of difference from your 003. You will never go back!

I just did a recording session with an 003 over the weekend. Being used to my high end modded RME by BLA converter, the 003 sucked!
