Congratulations Matto. You've joined quite a group of outstanding winners that are part of the Taxi family... INCLUDING the 2006 Session I winners from the Electronica category - those talented and sometimes crazy "The Divys". http://www.jlsc.com/winners/2006a/winners.phpGreat track too, by the way, so I'm in 100% agreement with the judges.

<Old-timer's reminiscing tone>Ya know, I remember way back before Matt became a celeb on the utubes... even then, when nobody besides Mike Laskow would take his phone calls, you could see the boy had talent. And even then- he was constantly on this forum, helping people out with advice and encouragement, never too busy getting his own career off the ground to take the time to help out his..how do you say...peeps!</Old-timer's reminiscing tone>Congrats Matt! You continue to amaze and inspire. And I'll say it again, thank you for the education and encouragement over the years. The TAXI community is blessed to have you as a member.

Quote:Since Matt finally 'fessed up about this, let's congratulate him on winning the John Lennon Songwriting contest, Latin category, with the song "Vive"http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... tream=true(lyrics are by Francisco Rodriguez)Great job, Matt!!!! Many kudos!!!!!! IT's nice but how can he win a song contest when he did not write the song?Shouldn't Fransisco Rodriquez be the winner?I must be missing something here
