You are such a good player on top of your compostional gifts. I always admire that. Some great moves, not too many notes. I love the melodic stuff. Those brushes are sensational on the first piece. I liked the way it picks up about 1:08. How did you get the crescendo roll with the brushes on the snare? Never mind, but it was beautiful. Congratulations. The other two pieces are stark contrasts in style. You really do go just about everywhere in the music.

Thanks HJ for the nice words. The drum loops are from an older library called Jazzistic, the crescendo is part of the loop. I've played with a lot of great jazz drummers and try to put the loops together in a coherent way to sound like choices a real player might actually make. I also added some ride cymbals from a library called Beats Working. It has some beautifully recorded cymbals. I alternate tracks so the cymbal hits don't cut themselves off, to give the illusion of the cymbal ringing out as it would if a player was playing it. I love all music and I love to make a lot of different types of music. Someday when I grow up I'll focus on a couple of styles but until then, play, play, play!!!!Thanks again,Mazz

Hey Bombay! Thanks.East West Bosendorfer 290. I think they're blowing it out right now, or at least they were. It's a nice library, not the top of the heap but it does the job for me. For the icing on the cake, a nice reverb always adds a touch of class! Thanks again,Mazz
