Wow! Sounds like you wrote to us personally! ha! and guess what? we're on your page.trying to get signed as a band but still submitting songs to music librarys and such in the mean time. We've won the John Lennon Songwriting Contest last sept., had a song placed in the dance video game, 'Dance Dance Revolution', which was because of a broadjam contest, which will appear on XBox and in arcades worldwide this September, had a song appear in a South African TV Pilot, 2 songs in a Canadian Reality Show and all of this in the short 2 yrs that we have been writing together. We are a singer and guitar player who happen to work perfectly so we created a band. Even though we just found a real drummer today and still need more members to do the occasional show, we feel more successful in these 2 yrs than in any band we have ever been in and we are in our late 30s. Yes, our songs definitely pay tribute to bands we worshipped as teen agers, Van Halen, Depeche Mode, DEVO, Dead or Alive, Bon Jovi. But we have taken some advice from one of your screeners. We have been tweaking our sound to be more 'modern', while still holding on to that sound we love, 'good hooks', 'good melodies' that rock yet make you shake your butt. Thanks for this great email and also watched some of the video you posted about libraries. BTW, we are signing with a management co this week, thanks to a Taxi Submission. Thank you Taxi and Michael Laskow for existing in these dark days!!Clifford Hritz & William Schrul of The Divyswww.TheDivys.comwww.myspace.com/TheDivyswww.broadjam.com/TheDivys
