Got the call!

Post by stick » Tue Jun 12, 2007 3:29 pm

So remember the Dispatch listing about the kids DVD series about the equestrian girl? I got a call from the producer saying she's using the track I submitted as is, and now also wants me to write the title theme for the entire series! Not bad for my first TAXI submission! Here's the tune that got the gig:http://www.thestickhouse.com/misc/taxis ... -18-07.mp3

Brian,Congratulations! Your piece seemed to be on the mark. It's great that the producer recognized that as well. This could be the start of a great relationship.Chuck

It was funny, on the phone she said almost word for word what the listing said... "rhythmic changes, not the same groove throughout, but flowing".

Brian--- major kudos!Impressive track record for such a short time. Makes me want to rethink my own goals and direction. I've blown off a lot of the instrumental listings for the time being... hmmm. Wheels are turning. Thanks for letting us in on your success. Very nice track too btw. You deserve it!Aub
