Huzzah! My first placement!

Post by grandmatarkin » Mon Jan 29, 2007 4:04 pm

Hey there... I just want to shout it from the proverbial rooftops... and maybe the literal ones if I can find a ladder this time of night...My song, So Bad, got accepted to a Music Library. I've been with Taxi for a year and have had about 35ish forwards. I was starting to wonder if I'd ever hear anything... but I know these things take time. The song can be heard here if anyone's interested...www.broadjam.com/davidbroderickThanks for listening... now i'm going to go jump up and down on something!Dave

Thanks guys... It certainly does take the sting out of all the returns... I've had about a 50/50 forward ratio, so my hopes were kept fairly high. I feel like i've finally cracked this previously unassailable wall known as the music industry. And now that I've found that crack, there are more to come, (hopefully).BTW, that is my voice, but trust me, without autotune and my arsenal of plugins, it wouldn't be so good As long as I can use it for demos, I'm happy. I don't really perform live anymore.Dave
