Blue?

Post by remmet » Wed Nov 09, 2011 11:33 pm

During Kevin Kiner's CSI presentation, he mentioned several software products that he uses. According to my notes, one of them was something called "Blue". Does anyone know what it is?

(The other software he mentioned included Adrenalin, Evolve, Damage, and Stylus. And of course, Omnisphere.)

Quite an interesting event!

Google Rob Papen
Evocative Music For Media

imagine if John Williams and Trent Reznor met at Bernard Hermann's for lunch and Brian Eno was the head chef!

Richard,

I've been using Rob Papen's synth Predator for several years and really use it a lot. Very analog sounding.

I like doing business with his company. He recently offerred a distortion plug in to his existing customers for free. (this offer may still be available to new customers with a new purchase)

I have his drum and percussion Punch on my gear list. You can never have too many options for drums.

Thanks Mazz and Chuck. I'm looking forward to exploring Rob's products and some of the others that were mentioned!

Just got home from LA a few minutes ago and trying to get reoriented. :)

Are all the best secrets no longer secrets?! :P

Yes, the Rob Papen distortion is still available as a freebie to customers.

Blue $239 at Sweetwater as download, Predator is only $179. They both have great reviews. Blue has 5 or 6 osc. and Predator has 3. I am lusting after both! :geek:
