Thanks to all

Post by BruceBrown » Tue Nov 08, 2011 1:22 pm

I wanted to write and say a heartfelt thank you to all the folks who made the new guy (me) feel so welcome.
Everyone was so open to sharing their knowledge and the spirit of oneness was very energizing.
I only got 4 hours sleep before getting on the plane to come home to Nash. but I stayed awake on the flight listening to tunes I've written, some 20 years ago, hearing changes I can make to rewrite and make them better. I got off the plane, drove home and went straight into my studio and started working. Up this morning at 6;30 working on cues for TV. I'm completely stoked.
My head is full of new ideas. I made so many contacts I no longer doubt that I can do this. I know I can.
I got lucky and had one of my songs played at a listening panel, to favorable reviews. Yee Ha!
For many years I've wanted to write for TV/Film, but didn't know how to get from point A to point B, after one weekend with all of you I know exactly how to do it.
I know it won't be easy, but I'm excited, inspired and chomping at the bit. Ready to knuckle down.
You guys are great bunch of super talented folks.
I think the Monkees said it best "I'M A BELIEVER"
Thanks
Bruce Brown

Bruce,

It was great meeting you, I regret that we never got a chance to really sit down and talk, there were a few others that I didn't get the quantity of time I would have liked as well. That's OK, it's all perfect!

I must say that you are primed for this, with your excellent playing, your experience and your attitude, you are on the fast track. I predict great things from you, Bruce, and I am privileged to know you!

See you next year if not sooner!!!

An awesomely powerful post, Bruce! For my part, it was great meeting you, and I have to admire your stamina; after 11 hours in transit, I couldn't even get back online before 'bout six hours reconnecting with my spouse and 'bout fourteen hours' sleep. (not necessarily in that order)

Yeah Bruce, so great to hang with you a bit! I'm also stoked I was sitting next to you when your awesome cue was played, I could feel you buzzin'.

Best,

Great meeting you, Bruce, and I LOVE hearing the Rally has hooked a few more musical souls. They are completely addictive, no doubt.
