My track 'Taiko Storm'

Post by mrwonderful » Wed Mar 21, 2012 1:41 pm

Hi Campers, I just posted a new track @ the Taxi site. Title is Taiko Storm. Before I carve the mix in stone I thought I'd 'run it up the flagpole' and fish for comments. I have a couple questions, things I'm not yet sure about keeping on the finished mix.
1) Should I get rid of the storm sounds? It sounds cool, but for placement potential's sake maybe I should mute it.
2) There's a wacky-sounding muted-trumpet-thru-distortion during the percussion break. I'm not sure it adds anything.
3) There's a gong that leaks off the end of the stinger. To mute it would provide a tighter 'button'. Take it out???

thanks, inquiring minds want to know...i'll check back later

best, Jordy
