Thinking about submitting to this listing

Post by PeterD » Thu Nov 15, 2012 2:09 pm

Hey everyone!

I'm thinking about submitting my song "Twilight" to this listing, but I keep talking myself out of it. Do any of you think it's relevant? Thanks for listening!!!

PS ... Here's the listing: New Listing '80s SYNTH POP INSTRUMENTALS in the style of Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, The Human League, etc., are needed by an Indie Music Library that with many placements in Film/TV/Advertising. QUOTING THE SOURCE: "We need instrumentals that sound authentic to the era but they don't need to be recorded in the era." In other words, recordings can be new but it should sound like it was written in the '80s. Be sure your instrumentals capture the sound of the '80s in terms of electronic themes and drum sounds. MID-to-UPTEMPO instrumentals only please. BUTTON ENDINGS are needed for this request. NO fade-outs. NO VOCALS - Instrumentals ONLY! All submissions need to be Broadcast Quality (excellent home recordings are fine). They offer a 50/50 split on sync and performance. You must own or control 100% of your master and composition. Please submit one to three instrumentals online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than Wednesday, November 21, 2012. TAXI #Y121121IN
If I log off, I may never be able to get back on ;)

I've already answered this posting in another section of the forum, so I just wanna mention that spamming multiple fora with the same topic/question is discouraged, here. I know it's not always easy to determine where a post should go, but for the most part, a question with a link to your music should be in Peer-To-Peer, and on a one song-or-track per topic basis. I hope you'll take this as informational, and not as a slap on the wrist; this is an incredibly welcoming community, and being easy to get around is one of its best features. Respect for the rules is nevertheless rewarding, beyond initial expectations, IMHO. I wish you the best of luck in your music licensing endeavors. :D
