Here are mine:

When coming up with goals for next year remember this:

1. What I won't, can't or don't have time to do myself - OUTSOURCE!
2. Write something everyday... keep the muscles moving.
3. Listen to music I love and figure out why I love it and why it works as a cue. (if on t.v. & film)
Then learn it and do an analysis of melody, chords and lyrics.
4. Keep a grateful heart , a good attitude and a fierce work ethic.

:D

Can I use your goals to illustrate the point I made earlier?

This is a strategy. And I would add outsourcing for things that are not the BEST use of your time. This is a classic example of HOW you would pursue your goals.

This both a strategy and an action. The strategy aspect is again in the how - you will take action every day. The action is the choice of what you're doing - writing every day

The goal would be the answer to this question - What is the outcome of this strategy and action combined?
dionad wrote:3. Listen to music I love and figure out why I love it and why it works as a cue. (if on t.v. & film)

These are all actions - and again - what is the outcome you intend to create by doing these actions?

This is a strategy - how you intend to go about your actions. BTW - this is one of my favorite strategies ever! :D :D :D

Thanks for your permission to give you feedback on your goals. And allowing me to use you to teach a concept - the difference between goals, actions and strategies. :D

Your coach,
Debra
