How Do I Change the Song Order in the Artist Songs Section?
I would like to change the song order in the "Artist Songs" section of my homepage. I think I've done my due diligence by searching just about everywhere on this website for the answer to that question.
For example - I have 10 songs with vocals uploaded, and I want to add some of those same songs as instrumentals (the title will indicate as much when uploaded). I am going to want the instrumental versions to be on the bottom of the list.
Please help. Thanks!

Re: How Do I Change the Song Order in the Artist Songs Secti
Just spoke with Henry on the Phone over at Taxi - he was very helpful and said that it seems that the songs are automatically sorted alphabetically. His suggestion was to put a letter in front of every song, and they will be automatically ordered accordingly.
I decided to use numbers with a closing parentheses - but there are multiple ways to approach this of course. I ran into trouble with the number when I got to 10 - the system put #10 after #1 but before #2. Therefore - I resorted to just using letters with a closing parentheses (spaces, hyphens, periods, or probably any symbol you want can be also used I'm sure).
Using one letter will allow you to order up to 26 songs, but then combining those 26 letters (in an orderly, systematic fashion) with other letters or numbers (I haven't experimented with symbols) will allow you to easily sort your 50 uploads any way that you desire.
Problems solved. Thanks!

heya, Doc.
I see this is your first (and second) post in the Forums.
WELCOME!
yeah, if you are wanting to get your songs in a certain order, maybe the best way would be to use a zero in the single digit numbers at the beginning of the title?

You do have to remember that when you submit them to listing, the number will be part of the title the client sees.

I recently put a [bracket with genre info before the title], because it seemed like a good solution.Russell Landwehr wrote:You do have to remember that when you submit them to listing, the number will be part of the title the client sees.
(The built-in genre list isn't complete enough, IMO)
But do you think the [bracket] addition a bad idea on my end?

Hi, Fredrik.
It really depends on your purpose.
When your music is sent to the client by TAXI as part of a forward batch, it is already grouped into a specific Gene or need.

Re: How Do I Change the Song Order in the Artist Songs Section?
Thanks a lot for the reply, Russell!
Yes, I'd like to include the brackets for the sake of the other TAXI members,
in such way that I too would prefer to have track lists by others categorized when I go to their profile pages.
That would save me precious time, especially whenever I look for some specific genre or skillset.
I only hope this wouldn't screw it up for the supervisors, to put my track main titles in ALL CAPS.
Example:
"[Emotional Orchestral Hybrids] ASSASSIN HUNTED (chase scene 1)"
You think that would be a problem for the supervisors?
