Cant upload pics
I can't upload my pics as attachments.
The file sizes are under 250 kb. I get a little window saying upload in progress, it disappears and the page refreshes.
If I preview there is no pic and if I submit there is no pic.
I turned AD Block off in case that was the problem.
The files are jpeg2000, maybe I need to convert them to straight jpeg.
Dunno it's very frustrating.

Re: Cant upload pics
I ended up sharing from Flickr with bcc code. I couldn't upload as an attachment either.

Re: Cant upload pics
Sounds like you're doing everything right, Les.
Do you have Mac? I opened the jpeg files using Preview, compressed them to under 260 (Tools, then Adjust Size) and selected the file when prompted.

Re: Cant upload pics
Thanks Henrietta, I have a mac running Mavericks but the Preview Jpeg compression wouldn't go below 350kb I think it was.
jpeg 2000 would though.
I tried hosting jpeg2000 on flikr but it wasn't supported.
I converted to normal jpeg and they are now hosted on flickr.
I'm just trying to work out how to link to flcikr.
I clicked on code and entered the url provided in the share box by flickr.
When I preview in my new post there is a picture box with ? mark in it.
I also lost the draft with my gear list in it.
Iv'e got better things to do.
These things are sent to try us.....

Re: Cant upload pics
Hi Lester,
You could try dropbox if you have an account.
Just upload the image(s) click "share" then copy and paste the link code between the Img tags in your post.
Also make sure to replace the last part of the link code...exchanging "?dl=0" with "?raw=1" instead.
That should instantly display your images in all their glory.
