It's cozy in there. A lot of fibreglass and some home made pressure traps made with mass loaded vinyl.[32]

We didn't have room in the house so this is in a shipping container 10 minutes walk from home.

Electric guitars are all Fenders, a Gibson and Martin acoustic.

Mandolin on the way and probably a banjo.

Mics; AKG, AT, EV, Rode, Shure, Guage more than I need really

Avalon 737, Art Pro MPA 11

RME UFX

2010 Mac Pro Quad Core w/32gb ram

Pro Tools 11, EW Goliath and Toontrack Drum programs/Libraries

Blue Sky Media Desk 2.1, Avantone Mixcube Active, Mackie HR624s

Mojo Tone Reverb Deluxe clone amp, Laney Linebacker at home.

Headphones Beyer Dynamic DT 770

Thanks to Gundalf for helping me post the pictures.

Suhweet. Now THAT's "re-purposing"! I see your oil-filled heater (I think). What do you do in the heat of summer?

I love those little oil filled heaters, pretty economical for the price.

The climate here is classed mild temperate maritime.

Daytime temperatures just coming in to winter are getting down to a high of 10 degrees.

Summer temps average 21 degrees.
I thought I'd wait and see if I need a portable air conditioner but it hasn't been necessary.
Iv'e got an in line fan that I turn on and off as required for air flow and with just me in there in summer its been pretty good. Only had to strip down to the undies once or twice  Thats with my amp and the Avalon both running.

It's great for me Di ing bass and I use it for vocals and mic ing acoustics. Wish I had a decent quality vocal going in.

The rappers use them a bit I think and this one has had the Babyface mod to speed up the compressor.

They get "knocked" a bit but some like them.

I know what you mean.

The company I bought it from sent 2 when I only ordered one.
I let them know hoping they'd say keep it but they didn't.
