I probably need to update this; currently, my main room looks like a music store exploded in it.
The homebrew monitors are gone, along with the Tascam interface/controller, the square flatscreen, the Sansui Quad receiver, the turntable and the stack of legacy playback gear on the right. Unseen, the portable vocal booth, pads kit, legacy MIDI gear, including sequencers, rack modules and (gawd) floppy discs, keyboard stack, wall of amps including two Fender Super Reverbs and a VHT Special 6 and closet full of guitars, the rather extensive vinyl/CD collection and of course, bookshelves, bookshelves, bookshelves.

Yeah, it's hanging out next to the drum station, these days, and I added some more, above the fireplace.

That's cool, I love the homemade speaker. I used some myself for years back in the 90's...they came out of a golf club when it was being refurbed and had Kef drivers in them..I think you can mix on anything if you get to know what they sound like, I sure did plenty of mixes on those that sound fine to this day.

I'd like to see the wall of amps and closet of guitars! Sounds like a museum of sorts, interesting!

Indeed. My old speakers were by Advent; the tweeters were original, but gawd knows where the aftermarket woofers came from. Irregardless, I got some great mixes on 'em. These days, I use the cheapest Mackies, and they get the job done.
