Hi everybody - I just wanted to say thanks so much for all your feedback. I had actually reached the point of burnout to some extent with this song, and was considering filing it away in the archives, but your feedback has inspired me to keep going with it, looking at arrangement and instrumentation. So thanks very much again, and hopefully in the not too distant future I'll have something further for you to listen to. I love the Taxi Forum :)

I've been working on the track again this evening. I've made quite a few changes based on your very helpful feedback. By no means the final version, but re-arranged and instrumentation changed.

As always I would value any feedback you are able/willing to provide. :)

Here are the various incarnations of this song, in case you wanted to compare:

First demo, initial capture of idea (probably worth skipping this one unless really interested in the first raw idea!)

First full version of song (pre-mix master etc)

Second and latest full version of song - rearranged and instrumentation changed based on your extremely useful feedback!

Thanks again for being so generous with your time everybody xx

Hi Chris,

Thanks for sharing! I like the song, especially the hook melody which sticks in your head immediately. However, I would add something in the instrumentation to differentiate it from the verse.

I listened to this and although it was a rough edit, I could still hear what a great melody it was. Looked u up on soundcloud and listened to the new rearranged version and I like it even more.

I like the way the guitar has it's own melody and the actual song has a nice melody too. As far as the market goes I think it could build to an alt - rock song
