Problems with music videos in listings

Post by lgstarr » Mon Mar 27, 2017 6:58 pm

I'm finding multiple errors with the musical examples (which I've emailed Member Services about).

Here's what I've sent to them so far:

All three videos are identical (even though the titles are all different):
Well, it's fixed now (this time no email so not sure when). "Pitbull" was linked to all 3 Latin examples before.
All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXIand must be received no later than 11:59PM (PDT), on Saturday, April 15th, 2017. TAXI#S170415LP

The third (3rd) video is now listed as "unavailable":
Hey Linda, thanks again for the feedback. We are looking into what could of been the cause for this issue, and everything will be changed within the next hour or so. Thank you for your patience. --recv'd 3/28 at 9:28am

OK, now all three videos are back to being all the same again...all are "Pitbull"!!

Deadlines Saturday - APRIL 12th email:

CONTEMPORARY LATIN POP SONGS with Male or Female Vocals are needed by a NON-Exclusive, Major European Media Company for In-Store background music plays. They’re looking for authentic sounding, Mid-to-Up Tempo Latin Songs that you’d hear on a playlists with acts like (but NOT limited to) Shakira, Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias, etc., etc., etc. Please listen to the following references to get in the stylistic wheelhouse of what they’re looking for:

“Chantaje” by Shakira ft. Maluma

“Pitbull” by Pitbull ft. John Ryan

“Bailando” by Enrique Iglesias ft. Descemer Bueno, Gente De Zona

Please submit songs that are rhythmically, melodically, and lyrically engaging, with a vocal performance that generally reflects what you’d expect to hear on today’s Latin Pop charts. Your songs can feature vocals performed in either Latin, English, OR a combination of both! Having contemporary Pop beats with some Latin-flavored instruments added on top should do the trick. Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, texture, and tone. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine).

NOTE: This company also pitches music for film, TV, and Commercials, and it’s not uncommon for them to offer and sign deals with the composers and artists they find while hunting for the in-store music!

NOTE 2: Please include a bio and photo with your submissions, as this company often may use them on their website or other promotional media.

Quoting the Company: “Performance Royalties will be paid by the media company, and at ‘WAY HIGHER RATE’ than what is paid by conventional Performing Rights Organizations.”

This company offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE Deal, so you will keep 100% of all Composition and Master Rights. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit for this opportunity. Please submit one to three Songs online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than 11:59PM (PD
