We've been to a great new Road Rally. Lots of new impulses, lots of new friends, lots of every f.... thing.
And what happens on the forum?
Nothing at all.
What's up guys? Are you all asleep?
There must have been SOMETHING going on that you want to talk about.
There must have been SOMEONE taking a couple of pics that we all want to see.
So why so quiet?

I had a great time: Learned a lot, met old friends, made new ones, agreed on co-writes and generally got much needed new inspiration.

A 14-hour trip there and a 14-hour trip back home: Still worth it ...

So what about you guys ...?

Howdy Geir!
It has been a bit quiet hasn't it?!?
I've been tied up running construction on a TV Show (American Crime for ABC) making some money.
At the end of this week I will finally be done with it...
I am also in the middle of buying a home and property. That is going to eat up some more time as I have to move and build a new Studio.
Awfully nervous and yet very excited at the same time.
Looking forward to 2017, may we both create beautiful pieces this year!

Congrats on the new house - I have a feeling that the the biggest investment will be where you also will be spending most of your time: I bet your new studio will be a dream!
So write on Cass and make 2017 the best year you can!

I hear ya. This year it was a little strange for me after the rally. I had a great time, got energized, met more people, etc. When I got home I found it very hard to get back into my rhythm. I had a long list of to-do's and follow ups and I think only now am I finally caught up. In November and DecemberI had several business trips that kept interrupting my music schedule and I felt like I was falling behind with my promised projects and collaborations. I still owe a few people some things, but they are on the back burner for now. Hopefully I can get my January in order and get my mojo back.

Same thing here, seems like I ran out of steam during the holidays. I still have a project sitting on my desk here that I was going to have done this month that I haven't even touched since October. But like you guys, I seem to be finding my rhythm again and starting to get some new music done.

The Road Rally was a blast, it was great meeting in person people that I know from the forums and Taxi TV, as well as reconnect with some friends from previous rallies. Looking forward to the next one.

My two girls have been keeping me very busy.

Also, have been working on jazz chops to help with both improvising and composing.

Getting some forwards this year however, so that's encouraging.

I hope I'll meet you at the next RR.

I've been extremely busy since the Rally, and have written more in the last 4 months than I had written in the previous 3 years !

It sure was very inspiring, and it was so wonderful to finally meet all my facebook and forum Taxi friends And even more important, I got to meet almost ALL my co-writers from all over the planet

I am trying very hard to get to the Rally 2018, but at the moment I am worse than broke - hopefully some huge sync fee with appear from nowhere and pay for the trip (15 hours each way), and the hotel bill
