Looking for a Lyric writer & Singer

Post by Alasdair » Fri Jun 16, 2017 3:57 am

Hi peeps :)

I have created a piece of easy listening acoustic guitar based music that I am quite fond of and feel it would benefit from Lyrics.
The track is on my taxi music page. I have named it "Are You Mine" for now happy to change it based on lyrics etc.

I looking for one or two people who can either do one or both write lyrics and sing. I am not sure if a female or male voice would be better..

I am open to feedback also and understand if my feel that lyrics would work well with this piece are off.

Thank for your time

After reading the title & only listening to the few opening bars, you've got me interested in the lyric-writing part.
Are you able to send me an mp3 of the track to work with?
If so - we can swap emails via a PM, if you want.

The key is appropriate for me to at least record a demo vocal;
then, if you like the direction, you can solicit 'better' singer help here, or however you want to produce it.
And, you can check out some of my works at my Soundcloud address.
Cheers.

Hi:

I have been a TAXI member for 10 years and had a few songs Forwarded. Won a Billboard Award many years ago. Can you send me some of your music at jfabyankovic at hotmail dot com?

As a past classical music and ballet dance, I love you style of music and my male friend has a great voice who sometimes does demos with me. His songs are in Epcot, Florida etc...

Let me know if you want me to sent some potential lyrics to your beautiful songs or send lyrics that you may want to write music to.

I will look forward to hearing it.

Ending on a Good Note,
Janet Fabyankovic

Just want to report to our Taxi Community Forums peeps that working this out - (oh, the power of email & cyberspace  ) -
and after lots of back-in-forth; it's with some 'stokedness' that I post the results of what started right here.

Thanks, Mr. Dodds - for the opportunity & the fun ride this has been.
Cheers!

And - for what it's worth - a little bit different from my previous 2 Road Rallies, I am really looking forward to face-to-face meeting time with you fellow-Newbies,
especially ones with whom we have already collaborated - half-a-globe away - thanks to the magic of cyberspace/Internet/email/Dropbox, etc. etc. etc.
