The listing says:
"They’re looking for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Tracks that could be found on a playlist with artists like (but not limited to), Franz Ferdinand, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Van Halen, etc., etc., etc. Please listen to the following references we got from the Supervisor to get in the general stylistic range what he needs:
“Take Me Out” by Franz Ferdinand
“Speed” by Steve Vai
“Surfing With The Alien” by Joe Satriani
“Ain’t Talking ‘Bout Love” by Van Halen
"Please submit high-energy, guitar-driven Songs with typical Rock instrumentation, and a super-engaging vocal performance. Your submissions should have inviting melodies, infectious grooves, and a big, anthemic chorus."
Two of the supervisor's references are instrumentals (Steve Vai and Joe Satriani). But they want "a super-engaging vocal performance." I'm confused. By that criteria, two of the four references would be rejected. I have some rock instrumentals but don't want to waste $5. Can somebody clarify?
Confused about Y171005GR "CONTEMPORARY, Guitar-Driven ROCK SONGS with Male Vocals"
