For the 4 Film/TV Listening Panels, where you submit one song and they are drawn at random, I'm a little unclear on how these panels go, as this will be my first Road Rally. Do people submit music of all genres? From the descriptions, it doesn't seem like any of the 4 are genre-specific. Is it best to submit CDs with one song only, as opposed to a compilation CD, or a professionally recorded and released CD? I assume you don't get your CD back.
Thanks for the help,
Rob

Re: CDs for Film/TV Music Listening Panels
Hey Rob!
For each listening panel there will be a slotted space of time to drop off your CD at the CD Drop table.
The Taxi staff will help you by asking Song? Cue? Style? and they will apply a sticker to the CD that says what Track to play from the CD
(if I remember correctly)
Does not need to be a Beautifully Packed CD!
If someone on the panel wants it, they might keep it or ask for more info
Later that day (or the next) the submitted CDs are spread out on a table for you to dig through to find yours and have it back.
(that is unless someone finds it before you and snags it)

Yes, just be sure to indicate on the Taxi-supplied sticker (they supply you one for each panel) the track number of the track you want played.robroper wrote:Thanks Cass! Sounds like my multi-song sampler CD will work. Hope to meet you there!
