Re: is this a scam?
Those are great links! Sorry to say, Ron, it's total BS.
Here's one of my favorite replies from that 3rd link:
"I got this e-mail too. They played my music a few weeks ago. Now I'm a trillionaire and my music is played all over the world. I also became the President of France and received a medal of honor, an honorary Ph.D, and the promise of 72 virgins waiting for me in Heaven after I die."
Just another rip-off for the unsuspecting and trustworthy musician.

Re: is this a scam?
I'm resurrecting an old thread here, but it appears the Skunk is back! I just got an email from these guys today and something about it rang alarm bells, and then a little pang of memory popped into my head about these old posts. A quick search for "skunk" on these forums returned this thread. I knew I remembered something about this!
If I'm getting this email, I'm sure others are too. Be careful of anything that stinks like.... well.... like skunk!

A search for the "72 virgins" probably would've worked, too.VanderBoegh wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 8:49 amI'm resurrecting an old thread here, but it appears the Skunk is back!
