MOODY, TENSION-BASED ELECTRO INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a NON-Exclusive Music Library for a specific, successful TV show. They’re on the hunt for Instrumental Cues in the general stylistic wheelhouse of these references the Music Library gave us:

"JAWS (Distance Between Dreams Score)" by Junkie XL

"Beauty Never Fades" by Junkie XL Ft. Saffron (From 0:00 – 2:21)

Please submit Instrumental Cues that use modern sounding instrumentation to create an anxious, anticipatory feeling and mood that could run the gamut from mysterious, to frightful, to foreboding, as long as you give the listeners sweaty palms. Stick with one central motif from beginning to end, and build anticipation as it progresses by adding and subtracting layers of instrumentation.

Note: The references aren’t truly arranged as most Cues would be, but our client did ask us for Cues, specifically. Therefore, we suggest going with something that’s more akin to a Cue arrangement than an Instrumental form.

TAXI Tip: The use of top-notch, futuristic sounding synth pads and samples are important for this request. They want material that can be competitive with artists like Junkie XL, but without cloning him. Be original, be cool, and be awesomely creative.

Your submissions should be at least 2 minutes long. Non-Faded endings will work best. Do NOT copy the referenced material in any way, shape, or form. Use it only as a general guide for tempo, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine).

This company offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE deal. Applicable sync fees will be split 50/50. You’ll get 100% of the Master rights and the Library will get 100% of the Publisher’s share for any placements they generate. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit for this opportunity. Please submit as many Instrumental Cues as you like online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis, no full critiques and must be received no later than 11:59PM (PST), on Sunday, February 11th, 2018. TAXI #D180211MT

Nice work on both of these tracks. Its a change to hear a 6/8 tension cue.
Congratulations on the forwards :)
