This is awesome, Bill! Man, I gotta get me one of those Avantone speakers as well. And I dig your assortment of axes!

Re: My studio/shared office/guest bedroom
Thanks, Matt!
I have a long history of buying and trading guitars, and regretting almost every one I've gotten rid of. This is my third Flying V, which my wife promised to buy for me many, many years ago and was finally able to get me for Christmas this year! My biggest trade in regrets (other than my first two Flying Vs) are a 12-string Rickenbacker, a 90s Jazz Master, a 70s Ibanez copy of an ES 345, a Japanese Jazz Bass that I pulled the frets out of, a 70s 12-string jumbo Guild acoustic, and an 80s Roland D-50 synth :(
Also, based on how well you are already doing the Avantone might be totally unnecessary for you. That said, since you are doing so well maybe you can afford to treat yourself ;o)

Awesome Bill, looks great!
Be careful with those acoustic guitars so close to the air duct, I had a ukulele split by having it hanging near one. I know ukes are much thinner but still something to consider. I keep a little humidity monitor close by now.
Cheers,
Marc

Re: My studio/shared office/guest bedroom
Thanks for the tip, Marc! I've got the vent pointed up and away from the guitars, and I keep an eye on whichever electric has its headstock right next to it... so far so good. Also, I live in San Francisco, so my heat is never cranked 24/7 like it was when I lived in Boston :)
Lamar, I'm glad to hear the shared space is working out for you, too!
