35 Years! EZDrummer is 40 ms Behind!

Post by ernstinen » Fri Apr 27, 2018 10:23 pm

Hey All,

I've been playing to a click track for 35+ years, and I couldn't figure out EZDrummer on my iMac.

That's because, on my IMac, it's FORTY MILLISECONDS behind the beat.

I thought it was ME! I was rushing. But NO!... When I sped up the EZDrummer track (gradually), at 40 ms it all locked in rhythm-wise.

I don't know if it's my interface, whatever; but it's worth it to play around with your timing if it doesn't "feel" right.

Just a thought,

Ern :)

Didn't we have a thread on this? Check to see if plugin delay compensation is turned on. It's off by default in ProTools. If that's the issue, you won't need to offset your EZDrummer tracks.
