Recently recorded songs with a Retro sound or authentic, old Vintage master recordings can both work for this pitch. Material that sounds stiff, synthetic, or obviously MIDI-driven won’t work. The songs need to feel like real deal band! Songs that avoid specific names, places, dates, times, and brands will be appreciated by this Music Supervisor, but they’re not an absolute requirement. Do NOT copy the referenced acts in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, tone, and vibe. Also, do NOT submit any material with unauthorized samples of other artists’ songs, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). The estimated license fee for this sync is $3,000, depending on the ultimate placement. This is a Direct-to-Music Supervisor placement, so you’ll keep 100% ownership of your Master and Composition rights, plus you’ll also get 100% of the sync fee and any applicable performance royalties.
