Full Moon (The TAXI Tragedy)

Post by WeWillWriteUaSong » Fri Jun 29, 2018 4:54 pm

Here's a cool story fellow riders. This past Road Rally I made it a point to meet J Walker (Rhymecology). At the Mentor Lunch, during the final table switch, he sat down right next to me at my table and we met again later at his book booth. We sat and listened to music for a long time and shared stories and rhymes. He also informed me that he was married to Gilli Moon (another VIP whom I had planned to see).
Flash forward to the present, and we have 10 songs together and are finalizing an album for this summer. Most recently, we concocted a tragic "story within a story" set at the TAXI Road Rally (based on true events with some creepy embellishments). This song features all 3 of us. Hope you enjoy! :D

This is a perfect story about the magic of the Road Rally, and a testament to just being a cool dude. The lesson here - in my eyes - is that if you're in the right place at the right time (which would be the Road Rally), and you're approachable and personable, and if you've got the skills to back up your hustle, good things will happen.

So cool to hear you linked up for a whole album's worth of material with this guy. I remember how excited you were just to meet him last year, and to think that you followed that up with a hefty output of collaborations is uber impressive. But I would never expect anything less from my homie!
