Cinematic Drone-y Forward

Post by MikeC » Fri Jul 06, 2018 5:44 pm

Really Happy to post a forward ! And just secured my room for Taxi Rally ! Its a good day :

CINEMATIC, DRONE-Y INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a large TV Production Company’s NON-Exclusive, In-House Music Library that feeds music directly to the Reality TV shows they produce. Please submit “drone-y,” atmospheric Instrumental Cues in the general stylistic ballpark of the following references: “The Lonely Tomb” True Detective: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNKoixy8_WM DRONE MUSIC / DARK AMBIENT MUSIC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mswTS7DphBQ “Deep Space” by Thy Veils: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gqj-84qTT68 “Reflection” by Johan Johannsson https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mq2AUCkUrnA Please send them subtly textured Instrumental Cues with very little to no melodic movement. Your Cues should have a consistent droning quality that delivers an unsettling, moody feeling. Stick to a singular vibe and sound throughout the entire Cue to keep your piece emotionally cohesive from beginning to end. VERY sparse percussion can also be added, but remember, less is more. Simplicity and mood are the keys to this pitch. Your submissions should be about 1:30 in length, give or take. Non-faded endings will work best.
