MUSICIANS

Post by lgstarr » Thu Aug 16, 2018 9:45 pm

What's the difference between a rock musician and a jazz musician? - The rock musician plays three chords for a thousand people, and a jazz musician plays a thousand chords for three people.

What happens if you play Blues music backwards? - Your wife comes back, your dog returns, you get your job back, and all is well!

What's the difference between a musician and a large pizza? - A large pizza can feed a family of four.

What's the difference between a bassoon and a chain saw? - The exhaust.

Why are orchestra intermissions limited to 20 minutes? - So you don't have to retrain the drummers.

How do you know you have a singer at your front door? He can't find the key and doesn't know when to come in.

How can you get a guitar player to stop playing? - Put sheet music in front of him.

And,

What do you get when you play New Age Music backwards? - More New Age Music.

those are great... since I just got back from a Bluegrass Jam (big Summergrass 2018 festival this weekend in Vista, CA):

Every banjo player can play at least one Chinese medley - known simply as Tu-Ning... and it just seems to go on, and on, and on...
However, most Bluegrass musicians are most familiar with Canadian songs played in the key of "Eh?".
A favorite among Bluegrass play-along jams is the 2-chord piece about genetics titled D-N-A.
And then there's this...

And the little boy said "Mummy, when I grow up I want to be a drummer."

She replied, "Don't be silly son, you can't do both".

Good ones, everybody!
