Not too long ago I submitted for one of the drone-y listings. It was the first submission I'd done in a very long time (only because of time, nothing else). But I saw the listing, took a couple days off my other projects and cranked out a few cues.
Funny thing - when I submitted them, I found I was extremely nervous, like I used to be when I first joined Taxi I have been off working on trailer music, and I wondered if I even could still pull off these cues. Thankfully, I just had a couple of them forwarded, so I was a bit relieved.
Funny - no matter how many forwards you get or how many placements, it seems like you never feel quite good enough. Maybe we musicians are just a bit too hard on ourselves sometimes.
Anyway, thanks Taxi, as always. We'll see if this one goes anywhere -- and if not, on with the next one!

Congratulation. These drone-y cues are hard to nail: when is it too monotonous and when is it too much.

Aint that the truth. But it keeps us striving for perfection. Good luck with the forwards.
