Hi everyone, once again I am asking for your help for this new song. I really think Josh did an amazing job on it and I would like to know what artist it sounds like and what genre this could fit into. The song is " Shine " on my Taxi page. Thank you in advance.

Hi Tom. Well done! I don't listen to a lot anymore except for Alt Rock so I'm not the best ears on this but my initial thought was AC. I don't have any "ala's" cause I don't spend a lot of time on AC stations but the general feel of your song had me thinking in that genre. Hope that helps a little. Best, John

Great song, vocal, and production. It reminds me of Dan Wilson (guy from Supersonic), but of course he writes his own songs. I don't know about genre. Maybe Adult Contemporary? When Ed Sheeran sings things like this, they call it Pop.

Thanks John! I think your right on with the A/C genre. Actually when I wrote the song I was aiming for a Ed Sheeran type song. Kind of introspective and I think he is becoming more A/C lately . The production is not quite Ed Sheeran but I still like it. Thanks for the help
