of the bunch - yours sounded the most convincing as a laid-back beach tune... even though there's no ukulele.
It's funny there is a uke there, maybe I just can't play it properly. I think John said he thought it was a marimba.

Its a cheap plastic one called a Waterman, you know you can surf and play it at the same time, possibly drink beer out of it. It seems to be very noisy rubbing against your clothes and general handling noise too.

I don't think the screener heard my updated version tho it probably wouldn't have made any difference.
At least Ive got one island instrumental in my catalogue.

Thanks for the ears fellas.
The ones that sound bad oughta be called "puke-u-leles" (*)... sorry my ears missed your ukulele in that mix; but the guitars sound good, IMHO -
very "Jack Johnson" ish.

(*) I sort of have one of those - it's a nice-looking "affordable" Kala Soprano; but the intonation is not spot-on, which is annoying - and makes me not want to bother to pick it up and play it. The sorry part is that it would probably cost near what I paid for it, with the gig bag, to have a proper luthier set-up done.
ARGH!!

It's probably worth having a go at it yourself Peter. There'll be plenty of Youtube videos explaining how. It'll most likely be a case of filing parts of bridge a bit to lengthen or shorten. If the action is way too high take as much height off the bridge as you can get away with before you get fret buzz.
