Some Great Plugin Deals From Waves

Post by mojobone » Thu Nov 22, 2018 5:51 am

Waves has been making and selling lots of great native plugins for a very long time and you might say that in many cases they've gotten their money out, which means they can afford incredibly steep Black Friday discounts on a long list of incredibly useful products. What follows is a partial list of the most useful and the sweetest deals, stuff I have, use and recommend and stuff that's on my wishlist. Descriptions are on the website, prices subject to fluctuation and probably only good thru Cyber Monday, 2018, but it pays to check back throughout the holidays, cuz they also want your Xma$ money. In no particular order:

Nice list there Mojobone!

I was just looking at the Gold bundle, seems like a bargain for $99

Mojo:

Have you used the Maserati Acoustic Guitar plugin? If so, did you like it?

I have not, but I hear good to wonderful reports on nearly all the Signature plugins/collections, Particularly Chris Lord-Alge, Jack Joseph Puig, Tony Maserati, and Eddie Kramer. Most of the rest are fit for pop, EDM and Urban; not my wheelhouse, but similar quality if those styles are your thing.

The Sibilance plugin is cool. Its good to have a variety of de-essers. I use R de-esser all the time.
SSL E channel is in every session of mine.
Vocal Rider is always on main vox as well as 2 or 3 instances of DAW level automation.
SSL G Buss comp, R Vox, Max Bass, CLA Compressers, CLA signature series gets used a fair bit all over. Got Kramer Master Tape recently and put it on everything.
F6 RTA is very useful.
I use the Gold and Renaissance Bundles.
Big fan of Waves here.

Bump, and Waves is having a tax season sale; the pick of the litter is the new Abbey Road Chambers, currently at $49. Spend $80 and up and get selected plugins, free.
