Newbie with first forwards and questions

Finally got my first forwards and want to be sure I do the right things.

I have some questions.

1. What format is usually requested by music libraries?
2. Where can I learn to install metadata in formats other than MP3?
3. Do you have any other advice for a newbie like me?

Hi Bob,
Congratulations on your forwards!

The format they want varies.....
Some want 16.1/44 wav files
sometimes 24/48 wave files
Or 24/48 AIF files
sometimes even 320 bit mp3 files

Also if they want metadata....they will usually send an Excel spreadsheet for you to fill in.
Here is my one piece of advise......keep writing more tracks, a lot of them!

I have stopped my cable TV and am dedicating as much time as possible to writing. It was surprising how much more time I now have.

I forgot a few more things....

I know of 1 library where you fill in the metadata online
and 1 library wanted all files loaded into Apple ITunes and the metadata added there and sent to them.
